Our family story
Rowse Motors began as a local mechanical workshop and grew through a lifelong commitment to servicing, building and racing vehicles. Today Ken, Tim and Elijah work together, combining traditional mechanical knowledge with modern diagnostics, dyno equipment and current workshop technology.
Motorsport has always been part of the Rowse Motors story, but the same lessons apply to every customer vehicle: understand the job, do it properly and give straightforward advice before carrying out further work.
Meet the team
Tim joined Rowse Motors in 1990 and brings decades of experience in general mechanical work, engine building, dyno tuning and motorsport. His competition background includes work with Peter Brock, Larry Perkins and Garry Rogers, as well as building engines for Brock's 2003 Bathurst 24 Hour victory.
Ken founded Rowse Motors in Warragul in 1972. His practical approach, mechanical knowledge and belief in doing the job properly established the standard the workshop still follows today.
Ken's grandson and Tim's nephew, Elijah first joined the workshop through school workplace placement in 2021. He began his apprenticeship in November 2023 and is now a third-year apprentice, learning the trade alongside Ken and Tim.
