Motorsport preparation & setup

Arrive ready
to race.

A fast race car starts with preparation. We help build a balanced, dependable package so the weekend can be spent improving performance—not repairing preventable problems.

Preparation with purpose

A complete package is quicker than a collection of good parts.

Suspension, alignment, ride height, weight distribution and mechanical condition all affect one another. Changing one area without understanding the rest can make a car inconsistent or difficult to drive.

We begin with the car, driver, tyre, class rules and circuit requirements, then measure and prepare the whole package around the result you are chasing.

Workshop to race weekend

Measured setup. Thorough preparation. Fewer surprises.

01

Corner weighting

Set with the driver, fuel and race-ready load in place to improve balance, consistency and the way the car responds in both directions.

02

Race car preparation

A methodical inspection and preparation program designed to find developing problems in the workshop—not during qualifying or a race.

03

Suspension setup

Springs, dampers, anti-roll bars, travel, bump control and platform settings considered together for the car, driver, tyre and circuit.

04

Motorsport wheel alignment

Accurate camber, caster and toe settings selected to support turn-in, braking stability, tyre temperature and predictable handling.

05

Ride heights & rake

Ride height, rake, clearance and suspension travel measured as part of the full package—not treated as isolated numbers.

06

Event-ready checks

Fluids, fasteners, brakes, driveline, steering, cooling, electrical systems and safety equipment checked before the car leaves the workshop.

Corner weighting

Balance you can feel in every corner.

Corner weighting measures the load carried by each tyre with the car in race-ready condition. It allows us to adjust the platform so the car responds more consistently under braking, turn-in and power application.

The goal is not simply four matching numbers. We consider total weight, front-to-rear distribution, cross weight, ride heights, driver position and the type of racing. The right balance helps the car behave predictably in left- and right-hand corners and gives the driver a stronger baseline to work from.

Race car preparation

Find the problem before the event finds it for you.

A race weekend is too valuable to lose to loose fasteners, worn parts, fluid leaks or overlooked maintenance. Our pre-event preparation is designed to identify those issues while there is still time to repair them properly.

We can tailor the inspection to the car, class and event, then provide clear advice on urgent work, planned maintenance and useful spares to take with you.

Pre-event inspection
Brake pads, rotors, fluid, lines and pedal feel
Wheel bearings, hubs, studs, nuts and wheel condition
Steering joints, suspension fasteners and damper condition
Engine, gearbox and differential fluids and leak checks
Cooling, fuel and electrical system inspection
Safety equipment, seat, harness and mounting checks

The overall package

Suspension, alignment and ride height must work together.

01 · Suspension

Control the platform

Spring rates, damper settings, bump stops, anti-roll bars and available travel determine how the car manages weight transfer. We look for control and grip without making the car nervous or unnecessarily harsh.

02 · Wheel alignment

Make the tyre work

Camber, caster and toe influence braking, turn-in, stability, tyre temperature and wear. Accurate settings give the tyre the best chance to work through the full lap—not just one corner.

03 · Ride heights

Put the car in its working window

Ride height and rake affect centre of gravity, suspension geometry, clearance, travel and aerodynamic balance. They are set and rechecked alongside alignment and corner weights to keep the platform repeatable.

Our approach

A setup you can understand and build from.

  1. 01
    Define the job

Discuss the car, class, driver feedback, tyres, circuit and current problems.

  2. 02
    Inspect and measure

Establish the mechanical condition and record the existing setup before changing it.

  3. 03
    Set the package

Adjust ride heights, alignment, corner weights and suspension around a clear objective.

  4. 04
    Record the baseline

Keep useful setup information so future changes can be measured against a known starting point.

Prepare before race day

Bring us the car before you bring it to the circuit.

Tell us what you race, what the car is doing and where you want to improve. We can discuss a preparation and setup package that suits the vehicle, event and budget.
